How it works
In 5 minutes, about 5,000 alternating movements1. The two halves of the platform move up and down in a 5 to 28 Hz sine wave, and the body works actively and in balance.

What happens in the body
According to the manufacturer, alternating sinusoidal oscillation triggers involuntary muscle reflexes: the body works without you having to command each contraction.
The alternating oscillation reaches the body through the feet (or through the hands and hips, in supported and seated exercises) as a rhythmic stimulus, left and right, dozens of times per second.
The muscle spindles sense the rapid change in length and trigger the stretch reflex: the muscle contracts without you having to command it, including muscles that are rarely trained in daily life.
The stimulus also recruits fast-twitch fibres and activates many muscles and receptors at once, which works balance and postural control. A lot of muscle activation with little cardiovascular load.
5–10 Hz
Muscle tone decreases; this is the starting point of every session.
10–20 Hz
Core stability; 12 to 14 Hz for post-workout muscle recovery, 15 to 20 Hz for mobility and fascia elasticity.
20–28 Hz
For those who already have a base and want more load; the session returns to a low frequency at the end.

Not every platform works the same way. SiWAVE was developed for a more natural, controllable movement that is easy to use every day.
